You can make your own Yogurt at home. A quick google search turns up: http://www.makeyourownyogurt.com/ But I've read about the process before and its not very difficult, especially if you already have some plain vanilla yogurt in your refrigerator.

Yup, and we definitely have a leg up out here in Montana where there are lots of local farms that sell organic meat and cheese. There's a terrific food co-op near our house that sells a ton of things in bulk-- grains, pastas, chocolate, dishwasher detergent-- everything. Still, items like yogurt are going to be a challenge!

Farmers markets and butchers shops can supply you with most of your needs. You just have to go back to our roots and stop supermarketing.

Wow, good luck with not consuming plastic for a week. This will change your diet. Not only are a bunch of prepackaged, processed foods no longer available to you, but basic staples like meats and dairy product come packaged *only* in plastic.

Come to think of it, your diet might end up being more healthy, too. :-)
