That is a *really interesting* way of looking at it!  (Reminds me of Schneier&#039;s definition of a &quot;trusted individual&quot; as &quot;someone who can totally screw you over&quot;, or however he puts it.)

Too bad it&#039;s not all of them. Too many of them seek to justify their existence by inventing new things to be paranoid about, and then making sure you know just how very worrisome the new things are, so that you understand you have to pay those same &quot;professionals&quot; lotsa bux to protect you, à la a protection racket. :-(</description>
